Authorities in Passaic County are investigating a suspected hit-and-run crash that left a motorcyclist seriously injured late Friday night in Totowa.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred just before 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Stewart Terrace and Union Boulevard.
Responding officers arrived to find a motorcyclist down in the roadway suffering from significant injuries.
Emergency responders provided medical assistance at the scene before the victim was transported for further treatment.
The extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries has not been officially released.
Initial reports indicate police were searching for a white SUV believed to have fled the scene following the collision.
Authorities have not announced any arrests, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
