Students Explore Filmmaking, Coding, and More at Urban League STEAM Camp

Newark

By: Richard L. Smith

The Urban League of Essex County’s 4th Annual Summer STEAM Camp at the Tech House is shaping up to be our best one yet!

This summer, middle school scholars will have the exciting opportunity to learn the fundamentals of filmmaking, storytelling, and storyboarding from Emmy Award–winning producer Richard Smith, President of RLS Media.

And that’s only the beginning.

Over six exciting weeks, our talented and highly credentialed instructors in Mathematics, 3D Printing, and Coding will help students discover their STEAM Superpowers — building skills, creativity, confidence, and problem-solving abilities they may not always get to fully develop during the traditional school year.

From imagining new ideas to designing, building, and using technology to solve real-world problems, our scholars won’t just learn about STEAM — they’ll experience what it means to create.

A limited number of seats are still available!
