A Burlington County man was killed in a crash on Interstate 295 in Mount Laurel Township Monday evening, according to preliminary information released by New Jersey State Police.
Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 7:00 p.m. on the northbound side of I-295 near milepost 36.2.
Authorities said a Freightliner tractor-trailer was parked on the right shoulder of the highway when a Hyundai passenger vehicle, driven by Antoine D. Turner, 50, of Burlington, struck the rear of the truck.
Turner sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by New Jersey State Police. No additional information was immediately available.
