It’s currently 65 degrees in downtown Newark, and we’re expecting wall-to-wall sunshine throughout the day.
Summer-like warmth will make its presence felt this afternoon. While humidity levels won’t be overwhelming, you’ll definitely notice the heat.
Many locations across the region could make a run toward the 90-degree mark, so be sure to stay hydrated if you’re spending time outdoors.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 90 degrees. Light and variable winds will become northwest around 6 mph during the morning hours.
Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with a low around 66 degrees and a light southwest wind between 3 and 6 mph.
