Pleasant 70-Degree Start Across Newark, North Jersey Region Thursday

It is a mild and comfortable 70 degrees as we wake up to a pleasant start across Newark and the North Jersey region this Thursday morning.

 

Good morning, Jersey! 

We hope you’re feeling well as you get this early 4:30 a.m. start with us. After yesterday’s summer-like heat, today will bring cooler and much more comfortable conditions to the region.

 

If you are heading out to the bus stop or already on the road this morning, temperatures are sitting around 70 degrees in downtown Newark with just a light breeze in the air — nothing too serious to worry about.

 

According to the National Weather Service, increasing clouds are expected throughout the day with highs reaching near 76 degrees. Northwest winds between 7 and 15 mph are expected, with gusts that could reach up to 29 mph at times.

 

Tonight will turn mostly clear and cooler, with overnight lows around 57 degrees. 


North winds between 7 and 11 mph may continue with gusts as high as 23 mph.
