Authorities in Hudson County are asking for the public’s help locating an 18-year-old Jersey City man wanted in connection with a double fatal shooting that occurred earlier this week.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit said Treshawn Daniels has been charged with murder, attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Officials said Daniels is wanted in connection with the shooting deaths of Luis Quintero, 53, and Kenneth Darby, 52, both of Jersey City.
Shortly after 1 a.m. Monday, May 18, Jersey City police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 109-111 Old Bergen Road.
Officers arrived and found both men unresponsive inside a residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Quintero and Darby were transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
Authorities said Daniels should not be approached. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office at 201-915-1345 or submit an anonymous tip at hcpo.org/tips.
