The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and Jersey City Police are actively investigating a deadly double shooting that claimed the lives of two men early Monday morning in Jersey City.

According to information released by Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello, officers were dispatched shortly after 1 a.m. to reports of shots fired in the area of 109-111 Old Bergen Road.
When police arrived, they discovered two unresponsive men, ages 47 and 53, both residents of Jersey City, suffering apparent gunshot wounds inside a residence at that location.
The victims were transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
They have been identified as:
Luis Quintero, 53, and
(Pictured) Mr. Kenneth Darby, 52, both of Jersey City .
The investigation remains active and ongoing and is being led by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit in partnership with the Jersey City Police Department.
No arrests have been announced as of Tuesday morning.
