Authorities in Atlantic County announced that on Friday, May 8, Rashad Lampkin, 37, of Atlantic City, was found guilty of violating his probation by the Honorable Ralph Paolone, J.S.C. Lampkin was subsequently sentenced to five years in New Jersey State Prison.

Atlantic County officials stated that on December 20, 2023, Lampkin was convicted of third-degree possession with intent to distribute CDS, third-degree possession of CDS, and harassment stemming from three separate incidents.
He was sentenced to a term of probation. On September 25, 2024, Lampkin was convicted of third-degree possession with intent to distribute CDS and third-degree possession of an electronic communications device while incarcerated, ACPO officials say.
He previously pleaded guilty to those crimes for a recommended sentence of three years in New Jersey State Prison. Over the State’s objection, he was again sentenced to an additional term of probation, ACPO officials said.
According to Atlantic County officials, on December 16, 2024, Lampkin was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree charges stemming from a home invasion burglary with the use of a handgun.
The violation of probation was promptly filed, and a hearing ensued, Atlantic County authorities say.
The Honorable Ralph Paolone, J.S.C., found that Lampkin had willfully and inexcusably violated his conditions of probation, namely, failing to remain law-abiding and arrest-free, according to ACPO officials.
ACPO officials say he was then re-sentenced to five years in New Jersey State Prison.
