We are waking up to the last of an overnight rainstorm that moved through the Newark and North Jersey region, but don’t expect the wet weather to stick around for too long this morning.
Happy Thursday, New Jersey!
If you are heading out around 4:30 a.m., grab the umbrella because some rain is still passing through the area, but conditions should begin clearing up around 7 a.m.
It is currently 51 degrees in Newark and feeling comfortable outside. As the morning moves along, we are expected to see increasing sunshine and a pleasant afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly cloudy early, then gradually become sunny, with a high near 66 degrees.
Northwest winds will be around 9 mph.
Tonight, there is a slight chance of showers between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. Otherwise, skies will be partly cloudy with lows around 48 degrees. Northwest winds will remain light at 3 to 6 mph.

Enjoy your day, Jersey!
