Residents in New Jersey’s 28th Legislative District are invited to attend a series of upcoming Property Tax Relief Presentation events aimed at helping seniors better understand available financial relief programs.

The Office of Chigozie Onyema is partnering with the New Jersey Department of the Treasury to host the “Property Tax Relief Presentation Tour,” designed specifically for senior homeowners and renters.
These sessions will provide guidance on the PAS-1 Combined Application, as well as key programs including StayNJ and ANCHOR Benefits.
Attendees will learn about eligibility requirements, application timelines, and when benefits are expected to be distributed.
Presentations will be held at the following locations:
- May 13 at 12:30 p.m. at Baird Community Center, 5 Mead Street, South Orange
- May 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Unified Vailsburg Services Organization, 40 Richelieu Terrace, Newark
- May 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Maplewood Senior Center, 106 Burnett Avenue, Maplewood
Officials encourage seniors and their families to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to better understand and access property tax relief programs available across the state.
