We are waking up slightly warmer than Sunday, but it’s still a chilly start to the week across Newark and the North Jersey region.
Good Monday morning, New Jersey. As of 4:30 a.m., temperatures are sitting at 46 degrees, and it feels brisk outside.
In some spots, it’s cold enough for patchy frost to form, so you’ll still want that jacket as you head out early.
The good news—conditions improve nicely as the day goes on. Sunshine will take over, making for a pleasant and comfortable afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 67 degrees.
Winds will be light and variable early, becoming east at 5 to 7 mph through the morning.
Tonight will be mostly clear, with temperatures dipping to around 46 degrees. Winds will be light, becoming calm in the evening.
