A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash Saturday evening in Hunterdon County, according to preliminary reports.
The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the 400 block of County Road 513 in Califon.
Emergency responders, including police, fire, and EMS, arrived to find the rider ejected from the motorcycle and lying on the roadway with severe injuries.
Authorities said the victim was unconscious and CPR was administered at the scene before the individual was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
As of 4:30 a.m. Sunday, there has been no update on the victim’s condition.
The cause of the crash remains under active investigation.
