Authorities in Pennsylvania are searching for a 25-year-old woman accused of driving the wrong way while intoxicated on the Interstate 476, causing a crash that left a motorcyclist dead and another injured.

According to information released by the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, Onanyeli Rosario-Mesa, whose last known address was in Allentown, remains at large. A warrant for her arrest was issued on April 10.
Prosecutors have charged Rosario-Mesa with multiple offenses, including vehicular homicide while driving under the influence, vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and several DUI-related and traffic violations.
Authorities say the fatal crash occurred around 9 a.m. on March 30, 2025, when Rosario-Mesa was allegedly driving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-476 in Washington Township, Lehigh County.
Witnesses reported seeing her vehicle traveling the wrong way at high speeds, forcing other drivers to pull over to avoid a collision.
Investigators said Rosario-Mesa’s vehicle ultimately struck multiple motorcycles, resulting in a three-vehicle crash.
One of the riders, identified as 50-year-old John Sweeney Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene. Another motorcyclist was hospitalized with injuries but survived.
Officials noted that both witness statements and surveillance footage captured the vehicle traveling against traffic prior to the crash.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Rosario-Mesa’s whereabouts to contact 911 immediately.
