Fatal Crash in Hamilton Township Leaves One Dead, Another Seriously Injured

Authorities in Mercer County are investigating a deadly early morning crash that claimed one life and left another person seriously injured in Hamilton Township Sunday.

The collision occurred just after 4 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of U.S. Route 130 and Spirit of 76 Boulevard. 

 

Emergency responders arriving at the scene found a heavily damaged vehicle with two occupants trapped inside.
 

According to preliminary information, one of the victims—identified as the passenger—was unconscious and unresponsive and required CPR. 

 

The individual was later pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The driver was rescued and transported to a regional medical center for treatment. As of shortly after 5 a.m., the driver’s condition had not been confirmed.

 

The circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear. 

 

The investigation is active and ongoing, and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office has been notified. 

 

Authorities are expected to release additional details as the investigation continues.
