We’re waking up to a comfortable and refreshing start across Newark and the North Jersey region as the first half of the weekend gets underway.
Good Saturday morning. It’s currently around 56 degrees, and it’s already feeling like a beautiful day ahead.
Skies will stay mostly sunny, giving us a dry and pleasant stretch from morning through the afternoon.
If you’re heading out early, temperatures are sitting near 57 degrees in downtown Newark.
You likely won’t need a heavy jacket; just a light sweater should be enough to get you going.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 63 degrees. It will be a bit breezy at times, with northwest winds between 14 and 21 mph.
Tonight, conditions remain clear with temperatures dropping to around 40 degrees. Winds will ease, coming from the north at 5 to 13 mph.
