Authorities in Paterson are investigating a violent armed robbery that occurred Friday evening at a local business, leaving one injured.
Police were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. to a shop located at 520 Union Avenue after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting an armed robbery in progress.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim inside the business who had sustained a non-life-threatening injury after being assaulted during the incident.
Preliminary information indicates that the suspects held up the business at gunpoint before fleeing the scene in a dark-colored vehicle. 
As of now, the suspects remain at large.
The investigation is active and ongoing. No additional details were immediately available.
