A lucky lottery player in Burlington County is celebrating a big win after hitting the jackpot in Wednesday’s New Jersey Lottery Jersey Cash 5 drawing.
Officials announced that one ticket matched all five numbers to claim the $590,007 prize.
The winning numbers were 01, 18, 24, 28, and 35. The Bullseye number was 24, and the XTRA multiplier was 02.
The winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven #33103 in Marlton. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
In addition to the top prize, 29 players matched four out of five numbers along with the Bullseye to win $500 each. Of those winners, six opted for the XTRA feature, doubling their prizes to $1,000.
Lottery officials said the jackpot has now been reset to $300,000 for Saturday’s drawing. The increase comes as part of a promotion that temporarily doubles the usual starting jackpot from $150,000.
