Newark authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl who has not been seen for nearly two weeks.

According to information released by Emanuel Miranda Sr., Jamaya Miller-Long was reported missing on March 25, 2026.
She was last seen in the 600 block of Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard.
Police said Jamaya is considered a frequent runaway and is known to travel to Camden and New York City.
She was last seen wearing two brown puffer jackets, brown Ugg boots, and black leggings. Authorities noted she also has piercings in her nose.
Jamaya is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
