We’re waking up feeling more like winter again across Newark and North Jersey, a sharp change from the spring-like warmth we enjoyed over the past couple of days.

Good morning and welcome to this Thursday.
If you’re just getting up and heading out, temperatures are sitting around 48° in downtown Newark, but with the breeze, it feels more like the low 40s.
You’ll definitely want that coat this morning—it’s noticeably cooler, a bit raw, and breezy compared to earlier this week.
We’re also seeing some light showers across parts of North Jersey, including occasional sprinkles in Newark.
The good news is this won’t be a washout, and you likely won’t need the umbrella for long.
According to the National Weather Service, there’s a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8 a.m.
Skies will remain cloudy, with temperatures falling to around 44 degrees by late morning. Winds will come from the northeast at around 11 mph.

Tonight, expect a chance of drizzle or light rain along with patchy fog. It will stay cloudy, with a low near 42 degrees and light east winds between 6 and 9 mph.
Have a great day, New Jersey!
