However, rain is moving into the area and is expected to impact parts of the region around the early morning commute.

If you’re heading out around 4:30 a.m., be sure to grab an umbrella, raincoat, or poncho.

Showers are expected to move in quickly, making for a damp start to the day.

While it feels comfortable early on, don’t let that fool you. Temperatures are expected to drop steadily through the morning, falling into the 40s and making it feel much cooler compared to Thursday’s pleasant conditions.

A coat will be a good idea as the day goes on.

According to the National Weather Service, showers are likely mainly before 8 a.m., with cloudy skies and temperatures dropping to around 50 degrees by mid-morning.

Winds will shift out of the north at 10 to 13 mph, adding to the chill. Rainfall amounts are expected to remain light.

Heading into the evening, conditions will stay mostly cloudy, with temperatures dipping to around 31 degrees overnight.

Have a great day, New Jersey.
