Two Injured in Late-Night Shooting in Trenton

Authorities are investigating a late-night shooting that left two people injured in the city Saturday night.
 The incident unfolded shortly after 10:00 p.m. in the area of Oakland Street and Hoffman Avenue, where gunfire erupted in the neighborhood, according to preliminary reports.

 

When police were notified of the shooting, it was determined that two victims had already been transported to a nearby trauma center by private vehicle. 

Their conditions have not been released at this time.

 

Police secured the area and launched an active and ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
 

No additional information was immediately available. 

Authorities have not announced any arrests as of this report.
