Good morning, New Jersey. If you’re heading out early around 4:30 a.m., be prepared for a sharp chill.

Temperatures are hovering around 29 degrees, nearly 10 degrees colder than this time yesterday. The good news is winds are lighter, preventing it from feeling even more brutal.

Still, it’s a cold start, so bundle up with winter gear before stepping out.

Conditions will remain dry throughout the day, though clouds will gradually increase.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will reach a high near 38 degrees, with wind chill values between 20 and 30.

Winds will be light, shifting from the northwest before becoming variable.

Tonight, skies turn partly cloudy with temperatures dipping back to around 29 degrees. Light winds will become calm after midnight, keeping conditions quiet but chilly.
