According to the New Jersey Lottery, a winning ticket for the Crossword Bonanza scratch-off game worth $25,000 was sold on March 6, 2026, at Brick City Liquor, located at 108 Avon Avenue in Newarkâs Central Ward.
Lottery officials confirmed that the ticket was purchased at the neighborhood store, though information about the winner has not been released.
Officials remind players to sign the back of their tickets and contact the New Jersey Lottery to begin the claims process.
For now, one lucky player in the Newark community is holding a ticket worth $25,000.
