A violent armed robbery that happened in the city's North Ward has police searching for a suspect this morning.
Police setup a crime scene in the 700 block of North 6th Street after gunfire erupted during a robbery at that location. The victim reported that a 5'8" black male who was wearing a black hoodie and a mustache approached and demanded personal possessions shortly before 6:30 a.m.
While attempting to hand over items, the suspect became aggravated and agitated when he fired a shot in the direction of the victim before fleeing the scene in a four-door white Honda Accord with a possible NJ license plate number "L82-ETG"
There were no injuries reported.
