Beaten in the head with a gun, then carjacked is what a male victim is reporting to police early this morning in the city's North Ward.
Authorities are now on the search for the male suspect that walked up to the victim in the area of Ridge Street and North 2nd who was exiting his 4-door black 2006 Mercedes Benz E350 shortly before 5:30 a.m. and viciously assaulted him in the head with a weapon before taking the vehicle.
The car has a reported NJ license plate number " X81-CFX"
The victim suffered minor injuries.
