Compassion was on full display across New Jersey this weekend as MTN Organization, Inc. marked its 11th Annual Friends Feed the Homeless outreach, bringing support and relief to communities in four cities statewide.

Founded and led by Yvette and Reggie Anderson, MTN volunteers spent the weekend traveling through Trenton and Lakewood, distributing care packages to individuals experiencing homelessness during some of the coldest days of the winter.

The packages included warm clothing, coats, bagged lunches, and essential toiletries.

Despite freezing temperatures, volunteers remained committed throughout the outreach, offering not only food and supplies but also words of encouragement, smiles, and moments of genuine human connection.

Organizers said many volunteers described the experience as deeply meaningful and rewarding.

The outreach concluded with visits to Asbury Park and Newark, where the team continued its mission of spreading warmth, dignity, and hope, ensuring that no one was left hungry or overlooked.

Organizers emphasized that the annual event goes beyond meeting immediate needs.

After more than a decade of service, Friends Feed the Homeless continues to focus on building community, offering hope, and showing up consistently for neighbors in need.

After eleven years, MTN Organization’s message remains the same: when communities come together, everyone eats, and no one is forgotten.
