A New Jersey Lottery scratch-off ticket worth $250,000 was sold last week at a convenience store in Passaic County, lottery officials announced Monday.

The winning ticket was purchased on Tuesday at the 7-Eleven, located at 218 Pompton Turnpike in Little Falls. The prize came from the $250,000 Crossword scratch-off game.
Lottery officials say the game launched in August and originally included six top prizes of $250,000. With this latest win, only one jackpot ticket remains unclaimed statewide. Tickets for the game cost $10 each.
The other $250,000-winning tickets were previously sold at the following locations across New Jersey:
• Wawa
• Millennium Food Mart
• Lucky Deli
• Fine Fare
More than 3.6 million tickets were printed for the $250,000 Crossword game, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

Lottery officials continue to remind players that scratch-off prizes must be claimed within the time limits outlined by the state, and winners are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets immediately.
