Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the suspect pictured below, who stole a package from the front porch of a residence on December 4.
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. stated that at approximately 3:14 p.m., the suspect was captured on surveillance video taking the package from the home in the 60 block of Sanford Place.
The suspect fled east on Sanford Place, Newark officials say. 
According to Newark officials, he wore an orange and blue hat, a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and blue pants underneath, and orange and blue sneakers.
