Suspect Wanted for Stealing Tires from Vehicle in Newark

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the male suspect, who removed four tires from a victim’s vehicle and left it on crates on December 2.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. stated that the suspect, captured on surveillance video, got out of a gray Honda Civic at approximately 3:20 a.m. and parked behind the victim’s Honda in the 100 block of Emmet Street.

He removed the tires, leaving the vehicle on crates that Police Officers discovered when they responded to calls that car tires were being stolen, Newark officials said. 

According to Newark officials, the suspect wore a white hoodie, blue jeans, and blue/white sneakers.
