The multi-alarm blaze broke out around 11:30 p.m. at 2303 JFK Boulevard, sending more than two dozen firefighters rushing to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy flames ripping through a three-story home and quickly extending toward neighboring structures.

A second alarm—and later a third—was transmitted as conditions intensified.

Firefighters stretched multiple hose lines to knock down the flames, concentrating efforts on the heavily involved second and third floors while preventing the fire from spreading to homes on both sides of the original structure.

After an intense battle, the blaze was brought under control in about an hour.

Search teams moved through the affected buildings and confirmed that no occupants were trapped and no serious injuries were reported.
