Authorities are investigating the deaths of two New York City residents who were found inside a hotel room at the Borgata on Sunday afternoon.
According to information released by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, officers were called to the hotel-casino around 4:55 p.m., where they discovered Baoyi “Bowie” Zheng, 36, of Staten Island, and Wei Guo Liang, 68, of Brooklyn, unresponsive.
Investigators said Zheng died from a broken neck, while Liang suffered self-inflicted stab wounds. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials did not release details about the relationship between the two, and the circumstances leading up to the incident remain under investigation.
