A multi-agency investigation in Morris County resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the recovery of drugs, cash, and multiple firearms after officers executed several search warrants across Hanover Township and Parsippany-Troy Hills on November 13. According to a statement released by county officials, the operation focused on suspected drug distribution activity taking place since early September.
Investigators searched two residences, four vehicles, and a storage unit linked to the suspects.
At a home in Cedar Knolls, officers seized ketamine, cocaine, MDMA, more than six ounces of marijuana, drug-packaging materials, and nearly $18,000 in cash believed to be drug proceeds.
Police also recovered a stolen Glock handgun from a vehicle associated with one of the defendants.
A second home in Parsippany-Troy Hills yielded approximately 64 grams of cocaine, a loaded revolver, and more distribution materials.
Two of the defendants, Jeremy Mayes and Casey Young, were taken into custody on November 13. Young, a Madison Board of Education employee, arrived at the Cedar Knolls location in a school district truck at the time of his arrest.
Officers said items found on Young led investigators to a storage unit in Parsippany, where they uncovered a loaded handgun, LSD tabs, psilocybin mushrooms, pills, and a detailed drug ledger.
A third suspect, Adrian Schwerdt-O’Neil, was arrested later on additional narcotics and weapons charges.

The investigation was conducted by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Special Enforcement Unit Task Force, with assistance from several local law enforcement agencies. Officials said the probe remains ongoing.
