Authorities in Middlesex County announced that an Iselin man was arrested and charged in connection with a homicide that occurred on October 30 in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township.

Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone stated that on October 30, at approximately 9:56 a.m., the Woodbridge Police Department received a 911 call reporting an altercation.
Upon their arrival, authorities discovered Marianne Straley, 63, of Iselin, with multiple stab wounds. Straley was pronounced deceased at the scene, MCPO officials say.
MCPO officials stated that the initial investigation led by Detective Eric Manresa of the Woodbridge Police Department and Detective Olivia Ankudowicz of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office led to the arrest of Roosevelt Oglesby, 63, of Iselin.
Moreover, Straley and Roosevelt knew each other prior to the incident; thus, it was not a random act of violence, according to Middlesex County officials.
Oglesby was arrested without incident and charged with first-degree Murder, third-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and fourth-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Middlesex County authorities say.
Oglesby is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending the results of his Pre-Trial detention hearing.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Manresa of the Woodbridge Police Department at 732-602-7338 or Detective Ankudowicz of the Middlesex County Prosecutors' Office at 732-745-8083.
