Good morning and Happy Halloween, New Jersey!

It’s currently 52 degrees and mild, but strong winds will make it feel noticeably colder, especially later this evening for trick-or-treaters.

Skies are partly to mostly cloudy as the region dries out from yesterday’s heavy rain and localized flooding.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 55 degrees. However, west winds of 15 to 24 mph, with gusts reaching up to 45 mph, will bring an extra chill.

Tonight will remain breezy and cool, with mostly clear skies and lows around 43 degrees.

Residents are urged to dress warmly and secure outdoor decorations as gusty winds continue into the evening.
