Firefighters from across Morris County joined Dover Township crews Sunday night to battle a massive blaze that tore through an automotive repair shop.

Police closed a portion of Route 46 after receiving reports of a fire in the 300 block of Richards Avenue around 7:20 p.m.
When crews arrived, they found heavy flames ripping through the roof of the garage and immediately signaled a third alarm for additional manpower.
Firefighters stretched multiple hose lines to attack the flames and took a defensive stance from the exterior as fire consumed the building.
It took approximately three hours to bring the blaze under control.
Authorities said no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
