Isaiah House is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to complete improvements at our 14th Street facility. 
Work must comply with all applicable building codes, OSHA safety standards, ADA egress regulations, and Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements.
Scope of Work
1. Commercial Door Installation – Install one (1) steel exterior door with panic hardware, weather stripping, hinges, threshold, and framing.
2. Panic Bar Installation – Install three (3) panic bars on existing doors, ensuring full compliance and functionality.
3. Floor Retiling – Remove and replace localized water-damaged tiles; prepare subfloor and dispose of debris.
4. Heat Pipe Valve Replacement – Remove and replace existing valve; test for proper operation.
5. Electrical Work – Elevator Room – Replace existing 3-phase breaker, reconnect wiring, and perform full system testing.
6. HVAC System Replacement – Remove and replace four (4) air handlers and four (4) condensing units; ensure system balancing and efficiency compliance.
Compliance Requirements
• All materials must meet Build America, Buy America (BABA) standards.
• Manufacturer certifications of U.S. origin required.
• Contractors must provide proof of valid license, insurance, and bonding.
Bid Submission Requirements
• Itemized cost breakdown (labor, materials, permits, equipment, disposal).
• Project timeline estimate.
• Proof of contractor’s license, insurance, and bonding.
• Documentation verifying BABA compliance.
