Authorities in Passaic County announced that at approximately 6:00 a.m., a man was struck by a vehicle in the area of Route 19 and Route 80 in Paterson.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes stated that the Paterson Police Department responded to the location and located the victim, Damon McNeill, a 40-year-old male from Paterson.
The victim was subsequently pronounced deceased.
This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes available.
