When firefighters arrived, they found heavy flames coming from the side of a two-and-a-half-story building.

Multiple hose lines were stretched as firefighters worked to knock down the blaze. During the operation, crews learned that several occupants were trapped on the top floor.

Firefighters entered the structure and successfully rescued the individuals, who were later treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The fire extended into the walls of the building, prompting crews to continue overhaul operations until the blaze was fully extinguished.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
