Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to a crisp, fall-like morning this Wednesday, with cool temperatures and dry conditions expected to last throughout the day.

As of early morning, it was around 60 degrees just outside The Prudential Center near Market Street and McCarter Highway.
Light winds made it feel even cooler — in the mid-50s in some spots — giving the city that classic autumn feel.
According to the National Weather Service, skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy through the morning before clearing for a sunny and comfortable afternoon.
High temperatures are expected to reach near 68 degrees, with north winds of 6 to 11 mph and occasional gusts up to 21 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear, with temperatures dipping to around 44 degrees, another sign that fall has fully settled in across North Jersey.
