Authorities in Newark are asking for the public’s help in finding 11-year-old Lushawn Smith Jr., who was reported missing on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Lushawn was last seen on Saturday in the 100 block of Jelliff Avenue.
He is described as African American, 4’10” tall, weighing about 95 pounds, and was wearing black and purple Jordan sneakers at the time.
He is known to spend time at Nat Turner Park on Irvine Turner Boulevard and around 18th Avenue near Central High School.
