A free community webinar focusing on youth suicide prevention will be held on Tuesday, October 15, at 5:30 p.m.
The session, titled “What You Need to Know About Youth Suicide Prevention,” will be led by presenters Marney Rohda and Maureen Underwood, both experts in the field.
Organizers say the event will cover warning signs to watch for and strategies for supporting young people who may be at risk.
The webinar is part of a monthly series offered through Family Connections NJ4S-Essex in partnership with Underwood & Associates, a group specializing in suicide prevention.
Residents can register online by clicking HERE or by scanning the QR code included in the event announcement.
Organizers encourage parents, educators, and community members to join, noting that learning how to recognize the signs and start conversations can be a crucial step in saving lives.
