Authorities are investigating an early morning stabbing in Newark’s North Ward that left one person seriously injured, officials said.
According to police, the incident happened around 3:10 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of North 13th Street.
Responding officers found an unidentified victim bleeding at the scene.
The individual was transported to University Hospital for treatment.
The extent of their injuries had not been immediately confirmed as of early Monday morning.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
