Paterson Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a food truck in the city early Saturday morning.
According to preliminary information, officers were dispatched to the Chimi food truck on Market Street shortly before 12:45 a.m. after an off-duty police officer assigned to provide security at the truck reported that three suspects, at least one of them armed with a gun, robbed the business.
The suspects fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash. Police confirmed the robbery upon arrival. 
It is unclear what the officer on duty was doing at the time of the incident.
Authorities said no physical injuries were reported. The suspects remain at large, and the investigation is ongoing.
