An investigation is underway after a New Jersey Transit bus struck a low-clearance bridge along Edison Place late Sunday morning.
Officials said the incident occurred at approximately 11:53 a.m. when the bus, operating on the 1 line from Ivy Hill toward Euclid and Lockwood Streets, collided with the bridge.
The bus operator and one passenger were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.
