Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman announced that authorities are investigating an early morning shooting that left a juvenile injured in Passaic on Friday.
According to officials, at approximately 4:56 a.m. on September 12, 2025, Passaic police officers responded to the area of Henry Street and Myrtle Avenue following reports of a juvenile with a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment. Officials confirmed the wound was not life-threatening.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
No further details, including the age of the victim or possible suspects, have been released at this time.
