The alert was triggered at approximately 6:10 p.m. near 1129 Broad Street, close to Gillette Place, where the acoustic detection system picked up the sound of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found multiple shell casings at the scene, confirming that a shooting had occurred. Police quickly secured the area with crime scene tape and launched a search for victims or potential suspects. After a thorough canvass of the vicinity, no injuries were reported, and no individuals were located in connection with the gunfire. As of Friday morning, no arrests have been announced, and authorities have not yet released information on a possible motive. The incident remains under active investigation.
