Mercer County Narcotics Task Force Seizes $30K in Drugs; Three Arrested

Authorities in Mercer County announced that A two-month investigation into the distribution of cocaine in the city of Trenton, conducted by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force (MCNTF), culminated this week with three arrests and the seizure of $30,000 in narcotics.

Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey stated that Okeeno Fagan, 36, was arrested on August 20, 2025, as a result of the investigation conducted by the members of the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, with assistance from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, the Mercer County Tactical Response Team, the Ewing, Hamilton and Trenton police, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the FBI – New Jersey Division.

According to Mercer County officials, at approximately 6 a.m. on August 20, detectives executed a search warrant at Fagan’s Taylor Street residence in Trenton.

Fagan was taken into custody without incident along with his wife, Alecia Fagan, 34, and Anevia Boswell, 31, MCPO officials say. 

During a search of the premises, Mercer County authorities said detectives located approximately 200 grams of suspected cocaine, approximately 100 grams of methamphetamine, a Canik TP9 handgun with an extended-capacity magazine, and $1,181 in cash in the upstairs front bedroom.

Additionally, cocaine, packaging material, and a digital scale were located in the kitchen, and assorted drug paraphernalia were located in the basement, MCPO officials stated. 

Accoridng to Mercer County officials, both Fagans were charged with first-degree narcotic and weapons offenses. The prosecutor’s office has filed motions to detain them pending trial.

Broswell was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and released pending future court appearances.

According to Prosecutor Marbrey, the approximate street value of the cocaine is $20,000, and the methamphetamine is $10,000.
