Sussex County has a new millionaire after a lucky New Jersey Lottery player claimed the year’s 42nd Jersey Cash 5 jackpot Saturday night.

According to New Jersey Lottery officials, the winning ticket, worth $1,148,993, was sold at E&T Food Market, located at 462 River Styx Road in Hopatcong.

The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot ticket.

The winning numbers were 10, 17, 24, 31, and 40, with the XTRA number 04 and Bullseye 31. The prize marks the seventh Jersey Cash 5 jackpot this year to top $1 million.

While the jackpot was the night’s biggest prize, plenty of other players had reason to celebrate.

Twelve tickets matched four out of five balls, the Bullseye, and the XTRA to win $1,500 each.

Four tickets matched four out of five balls with the XTRA to win $750 each, and 50 tickets matched four out of five balls with the Bullseye for $500 apiece.

The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot now resets to $150,000 for Sunday night’s drawing.
