North Jersey residents are waking up to another picture-perfect morning as cool, comfortable breezes sweep through the region, setting the stage for what forecasters are calling a “Top 10” weather day.
After days of hazy skies and stifling humidity, Friday brings a welcome change. The air is noticeably cleaner and drier, making for ideal outdoor conditions.
Newark is enjoying a pleasant start to the day, and the National Weather Service predicts we’ll see plenty of sunshine from morning through evening.
According to the latest forecast:
Today – Sunny, with a high near 82. Light and variable winds will shift to southeast at 5 to 9 mph.
Tonight – Clear, with a low around 62.
With low humidity and no air quality alerts in effect, today is a great opportunity to get outside and enjoy the last stretch of summer.
Whether you're commuting, heading to the park, or grabbing lunch outdoors, the weather is expected to cooperate all day long.
