Authorities in Bergen County are investigating a possible attempted burglary after two suspects reportedly tried to break into a home in North Arlington early Saturday morning.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. when police were dispatched to a residence on Geraldine Road. 
Upon arrival, officers learned that a dark-colored sedan had dropped off two Black males who allegedly attempted to enter the home unlawfully.
The suspects were confronted by the homeowner and fled the scene, heading toward Schuyler Avenue and into Kearny.
No injuries were reported, and the incident remains under active investigation.
